Trip to the Aquarium with Aunt G!

We used a different camera for this "photo shoot" and it seems to have turned everything pink! Must have been one of those rose-colored lenses...

We went to the Aquarium in Monterey with Aunt G a little while ago.  Super fun!  William enjoyed the interactive exhibits and watching the giant tuna and sharks swim by in the big tank.

Jack's birthday party

A couple of weekends ago, William was lucky enough to attend the second birthday party of his pal from swimming lessons, Jack!  It was held at My Gym, a VERY fun place for little guys who like to climb and play.  Some highlights below:

We are starting to think about Will's second birthday soiree - any suggestion?  We're thinking destination birthday celebration, Maui.

William and Wesley go to the Park

Today we met up with friends Wesley (21 months) and Jen (30something years) - and the unborn sibling of Wesley's that Jen's been toting around for about 7 months - for a little time in the park. This is the perfect park, at Santana Row, because (1) it is small and therefore Moms can sit down and watch their toddlers roam about without worrying about them getting too far away, and (2) it is within striking distance of a PinkBerry and Pizza Antica, not to mention Starbucks and Crate and Barrel.

Everyone had a great time! Well, we can't speak for the unborn sibling, but she did not seem to be complaining.

Recent William

A week or two ago our neighbors, Dennis and Susi, came over with a nice big box... it made an EXCELLENT fort, much appreciated by William.

William goes to LA!

Will and Mom made the road trip to LA this past weekend. It was an adventure - especially the trip home via the Mojave desert (highway 5 suddenly closed as we drove north, necessitating a detour past Joshua trees and then through a fairly substantial snowstorm). We had a great time visiting with baby Juliet and her parents, Peter and Emily, and with hotties Anina and Lula and their adoring mother Michal, and some guy named Ron who seems to live with them (or at least is always around).

Ron (actually theloving father of Anina and Lula and devoted husband of Michal) took some excellent photos and has published them on his somewhat hyperbolic blog, "World's Most Adorable." See:
