Mom and Dad are William's sherpas

Mom, Dad and Will took a family hike up St. Joseph's Hill... unfortunately, the weather was not exactly "with us." More on the "against us" continuum to be honest. But we made our destination - the hilltop - and then we made it home without getting TOO wet...




Of course, Will slept through the whole thing. Oh well!

Mom figured out shortly after these photos were taken (and before anyone left the house) that his arms had to be secured in... don't worry! Will loves going forward and checking out the world. His head control is excellent!

Recovering from jet lag in the bouncy seat

We had to bring this bouncy seat, purchased by Gram for east coast use, back to Los Gatos with us... it has unsurpassed powers for quieting fussiness and facilitating naps!

Meeting Uncle Stephen

Mark's brother Steve drove all the way from Rochester to meet William! What a wonderful uncle.

Steve passed the "Do I feel comfortable enough to nap on you?" test almost immediately.

Quality time with the Cooks!

The Cooks (Phil and Judy) are Mark's and Phoebe's North Carolina parents and Will's extra set of grandparents - dear, dear friends. We were so happy that they were able to come join us on the Cape and meet (and bond with) William!

...but he was a little sleepy. A nap in Judy's arms followed, surely.
