William's birthday party at the Cape - part 1, cake

We were very excited about William's first birthday party - especially Uncle Toby.


After some slight technical difficulties in getting the birthday candle lit on William's special birthday cupcake (yellow with chocolate frosting),

William was presented with his cupcake!

Mom and Dad helped blow out the candle.



Then Dad showed William how to eat the cupcake.


Will took it from there!

William and his first cousin once removed Owen had a GREAT time in the play pool! Uncle Toby took some wonderful photos.

It was a little cold at first...


But then William got more comfortable in the water.


They went into some pretty deep water!



Then it was time to snuggle up and dry off... very serious business.
