We start swimming class with the welcome song, which involves singing "William's In The Pool" to the tune of "The Farmer In The Dell."
After we sing the "William's in the pool" song, we move on to "The Kids In The Pool" song which involves going forward doing various things, and then the Moms go backward and blow bubbles. Bubble blowing demonstration below. Will's a little embarrassed.
Here, "the kids in the pool have Straight Shark Arms..."
After we are done with "Kids in the Pool," we chase some plastic balls around the pool, practicing our "kickers." William has excellent "kickers," according to Tiffany, his teacher.
Where did that ball go?
Oh, there it is. Delicious.
Now we get to chase little plastic fish around. The fish sometimes go up onto the pool deck, and William must practice getting out of the pool (elbow, elbow, tummy, knee, knee) to get to his special fish.
William gets ready to go underwater and swim to Mom (with Tiffany's assistance)!
Finally, we end the class with the "Tick Tock" song - below is William striking two o'clock.
